Hot(ish!) off the heels of our first blog about charities and wearable tech we've come back to post number seven in our series of blogs that look at the various charity smartphone apps that are available to download.
The Big Issue
Asks for donations? No Links to website donate form? No Responsive giving forms? N/A Text to donate? No Has other monetisation? No Has native iPad version? (N/A - it's an Apple Newstand download now)
At want2donate we're not really sure about the much hyped and encroaching wave of wearable tech and what a drastic change this could mean (for better or worse) of our species.
This is ultimately dependant on the intent of the people who create, own and develop this incredible and increasingly powerful knowledge and ability to bring humans and technology closer and closer. It would probably be fair to say they already know how to do things that would 'blow our tiny minds', as they say!
Tax exempt status of registered charities and online security
All of the charities listed on this website are registered with the Charity Commission in the United Kingdom. Like any business, charities have to submit Tax Returns to HM Revenue and Customs, but all donations are declared and the charities do not have to pay tax on them. This means all your donation to charity will help to further their vision and goals.
Registered charity numbers
Each charity's registered number can be seen prominently displayed on the bottom of their respective pages on this site and underneath their logos.
