October 5th is World Teachers’ Day, which celebrates the anniversary of the 1996 UN charter, adopting international rights, responsibilities and standards for teachers.

Concern Worldwide are happy to be joining the celebrations!

Why not get involved and show appreciation to a teacher in your life too, by buying them a gift from the Concern shop?

Concern gifts also make great presents for friends and family, and, by giving one, you’ll be helping to transform the lives of people in the world’s poorest countries.

For example, by purchasing the life-changing gift of teacher training, you could help a whole community become free from poverty; giving children the freedom to learn and teachers the freedom to earn a living.

And, for whomever you’ve bought the gift for, you can choose to send a card, or an e-card, telling them all about it.

There’s a whole range of other gifts to choose from, such as £8 piglets, or £15 pineapple plants, which help families have enough food for their children to grow healthy, learn and play.

All the Concern gifts are selected especially because they will benefit people for the long term.

So browse the range at the Concern shop today and know that whatever gift you choose, you’ll be helping the world’s poorest communities support themselves and have a brighter future.
