Hello everyone, we hope you all had a great day on Mother's Day! We went off for a family lunch to a beautiful National Trust property.

The National Trust preserves and promotes some of the most beautiful historic buildings and countryside in the UK, and people often don't realise that the trust is a charity.

We were really impressed to find out that they are actually the largest voluntary conservation organisation in the whole of Europe - imagine what treasures we might have lost if the National Trust wasn't looking after them?

If you're looking for a belated Mother's Day gift, or even a gift now that Easter is coming up, why not get your mum a membership pack for the National Trust?

She will have free entry to hundreds of National Trust properties around the UK, a members' handbook with information on all the sites, and will receive regular newsletters and magazines. It's great value at the moment too; if you buy membership today you get 25% off.

Or if she's already a member you can be guaranteed she'll love something from the National Trust Online Gift Shop.

They have such a great selection, anything from pretty pieces of jewellery to books to larger items for the home and garden. You'll definitely be in her good books, and you'll be supporting an amazing charity too.
