Cows

Quite a number of development charities off things like this

Send a Cow is a UK charity that helps poor families in Africa become farmers and live off the land.

Donating to Send a Cow enables the charity to provide valuable resources like livestock (including cows!), seeds and tools to new farmers, as well as providing training in sustainable farming methods.

This is the reason it became to famous to send a cow, and now a number of other charities do it. Check out the international development charities in our charity gifts section, as many have these as similar present options in their online gift stores.

Tax exempt status of registered charities and online security

All of the charities listed on this website are registered with the Charity Commission in the United Kingdom. Like any business, charities have to submit Tax Returns to HM Revenue and Customs, but all donations are declared and the charities do not have to pay tax on them. This means all your donation to charity will help to further their vision and goals.

Registered charity numbers

Each charity's registered number can be seen prominently displayed on the bottom of their respective pages on this site and underneath their logos.
