Drought landscape

There are quite a lot of them

There are a number of charities and not for profit organisations (NGOS) working to stop climate change including Greenpeace, Friends of the Earth, WWF, and the Stop Climate Chaos Coalition.

These charities are trying to raise awareness about the impact of climate change on our planet, and the devastating effect it is having on delicate ecosystems and animal life.

Humanitarian charities like Oxfam and ActionAid are also tackling climate change to try and help millions of the world's poorest people who are already being affected by drought, flooding and changing weather patterns.

Tax exempt status of registered charities and online security

All of the charities listed on this website are registered with the Charity Commission in the United Kingdom. Like any business, charities have to submit Tax Returns to HM Revenue and Customs, but all donations are declared and the charities do not have to pay tax on them. This means all your donation to charity will help to further their vision and goals.

Registered charity numbers

Each charity's registered number can be seen prominently displayed on the bottom of their respective pages on this site and underneath their logos.
