An end to animal cruelty

WSPA is an animal welfare charity working towards the goal of a world in which animal welfare matters and animal cruelty ends.

WSPA protects many different animal species through different programmes in countries across the world.

Some of their work is education based – for example training local communities how to care for their pets properly, or teaching rural communities new skills as an alternative to bear baiting or bear dancing.

WSPA also runs sanctuaries for bears recued from cruelty, provides veterinary treatment to working animals in poor countries, and campaigns for better farm animal welfare in the UK and abroad.

Tax exempt status of registered charities and online security

Like any business, charities have to submit Tax Returns to HM Revenue and Customs, but all donations are declared and the charities do not have to pay tax on them. This means all your donation to charity will help to further their vision and goals.
