WSPA's prime focus is to relieve the suffering of animals

However it is plain to see that human and animal lives are deeply intertwined and lots of the times we find animals suffering, people are usually involved.

It will soon be Valentines Day so we thought we would take a look through some of the gifts available from the online charity shops and list some of our favourites. We have tried to split the gifts into 'for her' and 'for him'.

First here is a tiny summary of the history of Valentines Day to get you in the mood!

Valentines Day is more formally known as Saint Valentines Day or the Feast of Saint Valentine and observed in many countries around the world.

It began as a celebration of a number Christian Saints with the name Valentine.

Hi there, everyone.

Over the last couple of weeks we have added a number of new pages to our site for the following charities.

This is just a short update blog to let you know more about them and links to the main pages for more in depth information.

English Heritage Membership

Most people in the UK will have heard of the organisation called English Heritage.

They look after sites like Stonehenge, Avebury, Arthur's Stone, sites along Hadrien’s Wall, barrows and tons more amazing and deeply historical sites like old forts, abbeys and castles.

Tax exempt status of registered charities and online security

All of the charities listed on this website are registered with the Charity Commission in the United Kingdom. Like any business, charities have to submit Tax Returns to HM Revenue and Customs, but all donations are declared and the charities do not have to pay tax on them. This means all your donation to charity will help to further their vision and goals.

Registered charity numbers

Each charity's registered number can be seen prominently displayed on the bottom of their respective pages on this site and underneath their logos.

Please get in touch if you would like to ask us a question.
