If you remember our blog post before last, you'll remember we covered the fact that it is Present Aid's birthday, and we wrote mainly about t he history of Christian Aid, who set up this famous charity gifts shop.

To keep the birthday celebrations going we now have a quick sum up of the impact that the gifts sold through Present Aid have had on the lives of those living in tough situations in developing or conflct torn countries.

The recent story about the website that set to give over the names of key people involved in the poaching of rhinos in Kenya got us thinking more about the human threats to these ancient animals.

The website which revealed the identities of members of poaching gangs is called PoachersExposed.com and was built by members of a wildlife protection campaign group, who number about 25.
