By joining the third Big Cycle Challenge the plan is to raise funds to fight cancer and support the work of the following four main charities:Children with Leukaemia, Lymphoma association, Marie Curie Cancer Care and Ovarian Cancer Action.

Dogs - man's best friend - in some cases and with varying degrees of success have been able to detect certain forms of cancer.

But despite this groundbreaking news and field of research, it is very unlikely that this form of cancer detection will ever be practical within the NHS.

In Japan there was recent news reporting that labrador of 8 years old was successfully being in trained to sniff-out a different between breath and stool samples of people with bowel cancer and without it.
