We were just checking around some of our partner charities news and we really thought it was cool to hear Poverty and Christian charity Send a Cow have received two new grants that will help them keep fighting poverty.

The grants total £42,500 and will be used to help the most vulnerable people in West Kenya and East Uganda.

The people who live in these places find it very hard to make a living from their land. It is a daily battle for these people to find food for their children and families.

As the anniversary of one massive disaster hits us, another unfolds as severe flooding in Brazil puts children in danger of losing their lives.

The poverty charity estimates that almost 50% of the casualties from the Brazil flooding are feared to be children. Many more deaths are expected to be reported as the rain continues to beat down heavily on the south-eastern areas of Brazil.

Poverty charity Save the Children are currently on the ground and working out what the needs are so that they can help surviving children.
